The Bible tells about special gifts given to Christians by the Holy
Spirit. These are not just for our own personal benefit but for the benefit
of the whole body. "As each has received a gift, employ it for one
another, as good stewards of God's grace. " (1 Pet.4:10)
Every Christian is
given some gift so that together we can be complete. "For just as
the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body,
though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For by one Spirit we were
all baptized into one body. " (I Cor. 12:12,13)
We in The Word of
God have experienced the goodness of the Holy Spirit giving us gifts to
serve one another and those around us.
